Welcome, to our MINISTRIES home page. From 0 to 101 there is something for everyone at Second Baptist.  We offer Sunday school for all ages, a weekly ladies bible study, Wednesday night prayer and bible study and so much more.

Open to kids in grades 5 though 12 our Uth meet twice a month to discuss certain "hot topics," dig into the Gospel, play games, fellowship together & more!

 Our music ministry is made up of our praise team which leads the worship on Sunday mornings with contemporary music and hymns.

 

Our choir presents special music throughout the year.

VOLUNTEER OR DONATE

We have an ongoing collection for specific food items called H.O.P.E.S. (Help Other People Every Sunday) or you can volunteer your time at the pantry.

Since the 1940's BYC has offered a variety of Christian camping, retreat, worship and learning opportunities for all ages. â€‹â€‹

Partner with us as we demonstrate God's love to children in need worldwide by delivering gift-filled shoeboxes and the good news of Jesus Christ through the ministry of Operation Christmas Child!

Join us for a FREE community Dinner on the first Friday in Sept., Oct., Feb. March, April & May. We also how a FREE thanksgiving dinner during the month of Nov.

What is the prayer chain?

Periodically a prayer request will come up during the week and a call or message will be sent out to those on the prayer chain to pray for the need. If you'd like to join us in praying please contact the church office or Pastor Matt. 

Small Group 1.png

Our small groups meet on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and offer up an opportunity to fellowship and dig into God's Word with other believers.  Children are welcome. For more information please talk to Brad or Gloria Phillips

If you’re someone who likes to knit/crochet, consider getting involved in our knitting group/prayer shawl ministry. The Knitwits meet on Tuesday's at 10 AM in our fellowship hall. For more information about the prayer shawls or knitwits please contact Marlene Bryant .

As part of the East Association Churches in Washington and Hancock County we have had the opportunity to send a ministry team to the Dominican Republic.
